Soapartesana — editorial storefront for a slow-made soap brand

A handmade soap brand needs a storefront that does not feel like a generic e-commerce template. We built an editorial single-page that reads like the brand's lookbook and converts like a normal shop — no carousel, no popups, no urgency timers.

The problem

Handmade goods sell on story. The previous storefront was a default e-commerce theme — product grid, generic typography, no voice, and a checkout interrupted by marketing popups. Visitors bounced because the site looked identical to ten other soap stores they had visited that day. Worse, the brand could not tell its story anywhere on the site — there was no "why handmade", no "what is cold-process", no photos of the workshop. The buyer who would have paid a 30% premium for craft saw the same template everyone else saw.

What I built

Soapartesana is a single editorial scroll. The hero is a quiet full-bleed photo with one short line — no carousel, no overlay CTA, no urgency timer. The "why handmade" section lives on the home page between hero and catalog, not on a hidden About page. Catalog pages use the same restrained typography with sticky add-to-cart. Checkout is a single page, single column, no drawers. The result is a storefront that does not feel like an e-commerce site — it feels like the brand.
